Emergency Feature on Pharmafill(TM) HT6B Heat Tunnel Automatically Prevents Damage
Wall, NJ: The Pharmafill(TM) HT6B Heat Tunnel from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), allows the raise and retract times of its Emergency Auto-Lift (EAL) to be quickly adjusted without tools. Devised to offer an additional layer of control over the shrinkbanding process, the air valve on the optional Emergency Auto-Lift may be rotated in seconds to shorten or extend the time required for the heat tunnel to react to its current sensing relay, and to shorten or extend the time required to elapse before the heat tunnel returns to position. In the event of an emergency, the Emergency Auto-Lift automatically stops the conveyor and raises the heat tunnel high above the conveyor as the heat dissipates, preventing damage to the packaging equipment and to products in process.
Useful for sealing tamper-evident shrinkbands on bottles, tins, vials, jars, cans and other glass, metal, and plastic containers, the heat tunnel with adjustable Emergency Auto-Lift features dual, 3000-watt tubular heating elements suitable for 208 volts or 230 volts set within a double-wall, stainless steel design to quickly generate high heat yet retain the heat inside for energy-efficient operation. The heat shrink tunnel seals neck bands onto bottles up to 10 inches in height at speeds up to 100 bottles per minute.
The Pharmafill heat shrink tunnel with adjustable Emergency Auto-Lift is designed and manufactured at the company’s Wall, New Jersey, headquarters. The heat tunnel machine is available with a companion conveyor and neck banding machine.
