Multiple Pharmafill(TM) TC3 Capsule Counters Set in Series Boost Production
Wall, NJ: The fully automated PharmafillTM TC3 tablet counter from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), features novel bottle handling technology that enables multiple tablet counting machines to be linked in series for increased capacity and faster production rates. Devised to help pharmaceutical, nutrition, and other companies match production requirements to the batch volume or continuous run of tablets at any given time, the proprietary index timing technology automatically controls and directs the flow of empty bottles from a conveyor to two or more electronic tablet counters. As one bottle is being filled, the index timing system releases a second bottle to a second machine, a third bottle to a third machine, and so on to as many machines as are needed to meet the desired production rate.
Suitable for counting and filling capsules, softgels, caplets, lozenges, pills, and other oral solid dose products, the Pharmafill TC3 pill counter allows the index timing to be set in seconds via touch-screen HMI and easily adjusted to change the number of tablet counting units in operation as needed. Up to 3,000 tablets per minute per machine may be counted and discharged with up to 99.99 percent accuracy.
The electronic tablet counter with index timing technology is manufactured in the company’s Wall, New Jersey headquarters. The pill counter is delivered tested and inspected with a two-year warranty.
