Pharmafill(TM) BCV1 Exposes Bottle Top and Bottom for Sensors
Wall, NJ: The PharmafillTM BCV1 Bottomless Conveyor from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), automatically exposes the top and bottom of bottles at the same time to permit automated, simultaneous top and bottom inspection without stopping or slowing the packaging line or manually removing or rotating the bottles. Providing a clear, unobstructed view for inspection cameras and/or sensors, the Bottomless Conveyor gently captures bottles from an adjoining conveyor and suspends them in midair between two hugger belts while transporting them above and/or below the inspection equipment. Approved bottles may be discharged onto a turntable or conveyor while rejected bottles may be diverted to another location.
Suitable for inspecting bottles, vials, bags, tubs, jugs, and a variety of other containers and small parts, the clever Bottomless Conveyor adjusts easily in seconds with no tools to accommodate a wide range of container shapes and sizes and promote fast changeovers. The powered conveyor features variable speed control to match the speed of the filling or packaging line and comes set on casters and leveling pads as standard for smooth installation and stable operation.
The Bottomless Conveyor is manufactured at the company’s Wall, New Jersey, headquarters. Testing is offered on-site to verify the conveyor is compatible with the required package style.
