Pharmafill(TM) NB1 Applies Print Registration Brand Graphics Automatically
Wall, NJ: The automated Pharmafill NB1, Series II neck bander from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), features a print registration option that allows tamper-evident shrinkbands to be applied to bottles with long necks without compromising company logos, text or other branding set around the neck and cap. Engineered with the company’s proprietary photoelectric sensor and software system, the neck banding machine cuts the shrinkbands precisely in register with the printed graphics for consistent, repeatable accuracy at speeds up to 100 bottles per minute.
Ideal for packaging wine, beer, liquor, soda, oil, sauce, dressing, and a variety of foods, beverages, cosmetics, and nutritional products, the NB1 with print registration accommodates all heat-shrinkable banding materials from 25 mm – 123 mm in width and 250 mm length applied on glass and plastic bottles with caps ranging from 14 mm – 76 mm in diameter. The versatile shrink labeling machine works on round, oval, and tapered necks with bar top, cork and other neck finishes and may be easily adjusted to seal multiple bottle types on the same machine.
Designed and manufactured at the company’s Wall, New Jersey headquarters, the neck bander includes stainless steel in product contact areas as standard on an anodized aluminum frame set on casters for easy movement. An adjustable lift stand and variable speed spacing wheel are also included while a companion heat tunnel and conveyor are available as options.
