Heavy-Duty Pharmafill(TM) Rotary Turntables Feed, Accumulate Drinks, Bulk Tubs
Wall, NJ: Packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com) has introduced a line of heavy-duty rotary turntables. Developed to support up to 350 lbs., the Pharmafill(TM) powered turntables enable packaging and production managers to automatically feed large bottles, jugs, tubs, and other containers into the filling line and safely accumulate the filled containers at the end of the line for cartoning, palletizing, or other operations. The rugged turntables feature a proprietary design with a solid aluminum frame, enhanced disc support structure, and caster supports to ensure smooth rotation despite uneven weight distribution. Concern for tipping the machine and/or the containers is eliminated.
Introduced in top plate diameter sizes of 12, 24, 30, 36 and 48 inches as standard, the new line of turntables features stainless steel in product contact areas for sanitary packaging and a variable speed drive to match the rotation rate to the filling line speed. The versatile turntables may also be used midstream to divert, stage and delay the containers, allowing machines upstream and downstream to operate at their required speeds without triggering a line shutdown.
Designed and manufactured in the company’s Wall, New Jersey, headquarters, the heavy-duty packaging line turntables ship fully tested and assembled on both casters and leveling pads for easy installation, setup and operation. Custom designs and sizes are also available.
