Built-In Spacer on Pharmafill(TM) NB1 Meters Bottle Entry and Exit
Wall, NJ: The Pharmafill(TM) NB1 tamper-evident neck banding machine from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), features a built-in bottle spacing wheel. Set upstream of the banding mechanism, the spacing wheel rotates at a preset speed to automatically meter bottles, jars, tins, and other containers into the shrinkband applicator with the exact amount of space needed between bottles to ensure consistently accurate band application. Banded bottles exit the neck bander ready for heat sealing with uniform spacing at the desired rate without slowing or stopping the conveyor.
Ideal for contract packaging companies and food, nutrition, and pharmaceutical manufacturers, the Pharmafill NB1 neck bander may be easily adjusted via touch-screen HMI to increase or decrease the spacer wheel speed for precise, gentle metering with a wide variety of different products and container sizes. The clever spacing wheel is included with the shrink banding machine as standard at no extra charge.
The neck bander automatically applies shrink bands and printed sleeve labels onto bottles with necks from 14 mm – 76 mm in diameter at up to 100 bottles per minute based on bottle size and shrinkband cut length. An automatic safety door, adjustable-height lift stand, and stainless steel construction are also included.
